1928 - Ridgeway and Crystal Beach High School opens its doors for the first time. (RCBHS Files)


1967 - Franklin B. Hendershot of Stevensville becomes the first person in Fort Erie honoured with a certificate from the Federal government upon turning 100. Secretary of State Judy LaMarsh presented it to him. (Evening Review Centennial Edition, June 30, 1967)
